From No Online Presence to Record-Setting Growth:
How Cazbah Helped CAM-TECH Industries Turn Technical Authority Into High-Quality Sales Opportunities
Executive Summary
Founded in 1981 by Tom Collier, CAM-TECH manufactures socket set screws for demanding applications where quality, documentation, and consistency are not optional. Today, roughly 80% of CAM-TECH’s work serves military and aerospace customers, with the remaining 20% focused on commercial customers that also require high-quality, emergency, and consistently reliable product.
CAM-TECH Industries partnered with Cazbah to build a modern website with user-friendly content that educates, explains, and solves problems for their ideal customer. The website design, content, and structure by Cazbah enabled CAM-TECH Industries to become more visible to its ideal customer and improve lead quality.

- 38,400 website impressions in one month
- 75% online quote-to-order conversion
- Strong enough growth to add four to five people to keep up with demand
The Challenge
From the beginning, CAM-TECH built its reputation around quality. As Tom explained, “The quality built our company.” That commitment became central to CAM-TECH’s market position, especially as quality requirements in military and aerospace manufacturing became more rigorous.
But for many years, CAM-TECH’s online presence did not reflect the depth of its expertise or the strength of its reputation. Before working with Cazbah, the company had no meaningful digital presence. Tom stated it plainly: “There was no online presence.” The company relied on older methods, including mailings, established relationships, and the strength of its reputation in a highly specialized market.
That presented a real growth limitation. CAM-TECH had deep technical knowledge, strong manufacturing capabilities, a quality-first operating philosophy, and documentation that set it apart from competitors. However, without a strong online platform, potential customers had fewer ways to discover that expertise, evaluate the company, or understand why CAM-TECH was different before requesting a quote.
The Solution
Cazbah helped bring CAM-TECH’s technical authority online and make it discoverable to the right buyers.
Rather than building a simple brochure website, Cazbah helped CAM-TECH create a deep technical resource for customers and prospects researching socket set screws, quality standards, inspection documentation, plating issues, gauges, hydrogen embrittlement, and related product questions. The website became more than a digital storefront. It became what Tom and the Cazbah team describe as a library.
“We’re basically like a library,” Tom said. “We have a lot of technical articles written that are on the website.”
That content strategy matters because CAM-TECH’s best buyers are not casual browsers. They are engineers, purchasing teams, quality professionals, and military or aerospace suppliers looking for answers, documentation, reliability, and confidence. Cazbah helped organize CAM-TECH’s product information, technical data, articles, videos, facility information, and quality messaging so the website could show what the company actually represents.
As Tom put it, “Once they’re looking at our website, the data that’s on the website, how well it’s arranged, all of the standards that we have to comply with, I think that represents what we’re about.”
Cazbah’s ongoing support also helped keep the site current, useful, and responsive. Tom specifically praised his Cazbah Internet Marketing Consultant (IMC), Rachel, for her responsiveness, technical understanding, and ability to move updates quickly. “She’s amazing,” he said. “She’s fast. She’s pretty knowledgeable on our website now.”
The Results
The results have been substantial.
CAM-TECH’s website now attracts a level of impressions Tom considers extraordinary for a small specialty manufacturer., he reported 38,400 website impressions in the prior month. “I think that’s astonishing,” he said. “That’s a small city every month.”
More importantly, that traffic is producing business. Tom estimated that approximately 75% of online quote activity turns into orders. “If I had to take a guess, I would say 75% of it turns into orders,” he said.
That kind of conversion is possible because the website is attracting and educating the right kind of buyer. Prospects can find detailed answers before they reach out. They can see CAM-TECH’s technical knowledge, quality standards, product line, machinery, facility, videos, and documentation focus. By the time they request a quote, they have already begun to understand why CAM-TECH is different.
CAM-TECH’s business performance reflects that momentum. Tom shared that the company has had three consecutive record-setting years. “The year before, we broke a record. Last year, we broke a record. And this year, we’re breaking a record from last year,” he said.
When asked about the growth rate, Tom described roughly 20% year-over-year growth across four years of working with Cazbah, with another strong year underway. That compounds into a much larger business impact. When asked if this four-year period amounted to approximately 80% growth, Tom answered, “It does.” Tom agreed when presented with the fact that they grew 80% year over year.
The company has also had to hire four or five people to keep up with demand. And while the website is helping drive exposure and opportunities, Tom was clear that CAM-TECH’s growth is still rooted in its ability to back up the message with performance. Last year, across thousands of shipments, CAM-TECH had zero rejects.
“Last year, of all the shipments, thousands of shipments that went out the door, we had no rejects,” Tom said.
That combination of online visibility and operational excellence is what makes the results durable. Cazbah helped more of the right people find CAM-TECH. CAM-TECH’s quality and service kept them coming back.
Client Perspective
Tom’s view of the Cazbah relationship is direct and practical. The website is not just an expense. It is a business asset.
“The website has been a fantastic tool. It’s paying off. It’s giving us exposure. A lot of exposure.” He also emphasized the value of the investment: “It’s worth the investment. Cut and dry.”
For Tom, the website has helped CAM-TECH move from old-school outreach into a modern digital buying environment without losing the company’s identity. “It brought us into the 21st century,” he said. “The website is nice because it’s a visual thing. It shows our building. It shows the machinery. It has videos. It shows our product line and all the technical data and articles. It’s an amazing asset.”
The Outcome
CAM-TECH Industries had already built a quality-first manufacturing business before Cazbah entered the picture. What Cazbah helped do was make that quality, technical knowledge, and specialization visible to the right buyers online.
The result is a website that functions as a technical library, a credibility builder, and a sales driver. With 38,400 monthly website impressions, an estimated 75% quote-to-order conversion rate, zero rejects last year, three consecutive record-setting years, and approximately 80% growth over the recent period, CAM-TECH shows what can happen when a specialized industrial company turns its knowledge into a searchable, credible, high-performing digital presence.
